Pakistan spin-bowling all-rounder Imad Wasim has admitted that Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan troubled him the most out of any bowler during the World Cup.

Imad, who averaged 54 with the bat at the World Cup, played a crucial knock against Afghanistan as he scored an unbeaten 49 to lead Pakistan to a nail-biting three-wicket win with two balls to spare.

However, he conceded that he found it immensely difficult when facing Rashid.

“Rashid Khan is one of the best spinners in the world, we did in-depth analysis about him but it’s very tough to face such a class bowler,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
