Shoaib Akhtar: “Gratitude and love from my side to all of you for showering me with this support in making me the fastest Pakistani to one million subscribers on YouTube”

Legendary Pakistan pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar has made history on YouTube as he became the fastest person to gain one million subscribers.

Akhtar is not new to breaking records as he still holds the record for the fastest ball ever bowled in an international match at 161.3 kilometers per hour.

However, the 43-year-old is now rewriting the record books off the field as he took just 28 days to amass a million subscribers on his YouTube channel.

“Gratitude and love from my side to all of you for showering me with this support in making me the fastest Pakistani to one million subscribers on YouTube,” he was quoted as saying by Geo.tv. “I started this channel three months ago but had it shut down. However, I decided to restart it for about four weeks and got one million subscribers.”

Akhtar has been very active on his YouTube channel as of late as he is currently providing a lot of analysis on the ongoing World Cup in England and Wales.
