Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has claimed that if India’s Hardik Pandya train with him for two weeks, he will become the best all-rounder in the world.

Pandya has had a decent World Cup campaign thus far as he has scored 142 runs in five matches at an average of 35.50 and a strike-rate of 142.

He has also taken five wickets at an average of 44.40.

However, Razzaq extended an offer to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), saying that he can transform Pandya into an elite all-rounder.

“So today I have been closely observing Hardik pandya and I feel like I see a lot of faults in his body’s balance when hitting the ball hard and I observed his footwork as well and I see that also let’s him down sometimes and I feel like if I give him Coaching in [the UAE for example], I can make him one of the best all-rounders, if not the best, and if BCCI wants to make him a better all-rounder, I will always be available,” Razzaq said on Twitter.

India’s next World Cup match will be against England at Edgbaston on Sunday.

As for Pakistan, their next game will be against Afghanistan at Headingley on Saturday.

If they beat Afghanistan, Pakistan will then have to take down Bangladesh at Lord’s on July 5 in order to have any chance of reaching the semi-finals.

However, even if they defeat Afghanistan and Bangladesh, it might not be enough as they will have to rely on the results of other matches.
