Former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja has admitted that the national team will need to “tweak their plans a bit” for their World Cup clash against New Zealand at Edgbaston on Wednesday.
Pakistan have to beat New Zealand to keep their hopes of qualifying for the semi-finals alive, but that will be easier said than done, especially as the Black Caps have not been defeated in the tournament.
New Zealand have won five of their six games, while their match against India was washed out.
As for Pakistan, they have won two of their six games and will no doubt have to be at their very best in order to hand New Zealand their first loss in this World Cup.
“Pakistan [will] need to tweak their plans a bit against New Zealand,” Ramiz was quoted as saying by the Business Recorder.
