Legendary Pakistan left-arm seamer Wasim Akram firmly believes that the national team shouldn’t make any changes for their World Cup clash against New Zealand on Wednesday.

Akram’s comments come after Pakistan kept their hopes of qualifying for the World Cup semi-finals alive by beating South Africa by 49 runs at Lord’s on Sunday.

While New Zealand are undefeated in the tournament, Akram urged the men in green not to make any changes.

“There’s no need to change the winning combination,” Akram told Geo as quoted by The News International.

Pakistan’s match against New Zealand will be held at Edgbaston.
