Legendary Pakistan left-arm seamer Shoaib Akhtar seems to have blamed opener Imam-ul-Haq for the national team’s World Cup loss to Australia.
Imam scored a 75-ball 53, but the men in green still ended up losing by 41 runs.
Akhtar feels that Imam “put the whole team under pressure” by using 75 balls to score 53 runs.

“I have always raised concerns over Imam’s strike-rate. Scored 53 off 75 balls, put the whole team under pressure. Hence, the crumbling. Sigh,” Akhtar said on Twitter.
Pakistan’s next World Cup match will be against arch-rivals India in Manchester on Sunday.
