Australia captain Aaron Finch has admitted that he would “love to play in Pakistan”.

International cricket is slowly trickling back to Pakistan AS Sri Lanka played a Twenty20 International in Lahore in October 2017 while the West Indies played a three-match Twenty20 series in Karachi in April 2018.

Despite this, many teams still refuse to tour the country due to the unstable security situation.

However, Finch made it clear that he is eager to tour Pakistan at some point since it is “such a wonderful country”.

“I’d love to play in Pakistan, it’s such a wonderful country,” Finch was quoted as saying by Saj Sadiq on Twitter.

Finch’s comments come ahead of Australia’s World Cup match against Pakistan in Taunton on Wednesday.
