Legendary Pakistan left-arm seamer Wasim Akram has admitted that the national team need to be concerned about Australia’s pace attack ahead of their World Cup clash on Wednesday.

Akram’s comments come after Australia beat the West Indies by 15 runs.

While Nathan Coulter-Nile starred by scoring a career-best 92, left-arm pace bowler Mitchell Starc made his presence felt by taking a five-wicket haul.

Pat Cummins also put up a good performance with the ball as he finished with figures of 2-41 off his 10 overs.

“It’s a very good side. The way they played against West Indies was remarkable. At one point it felt West Indies [would] win easily. I have said it before the tournament as well that they have a complete fast bowling attack – not medium pacers,” Akram told Geo.tv.
