Why is Hussain highly impressed with the Pakistan fans?

Nasser Hussain praises Pakistan fans for constantly supporting the team through thick and thin World Cup cricket

Nasser Hussain: “Their supporters haven’t lost faith, through thick and thin – 12 games including the warm-up they haven’t won, but their fans have stuck with their team and cheered them on and wished them well”

Former England captain Nasser Hussain has praised the Pakistan fans for constantly supporting their team through thick and thin.

Hussain’s comments come after Pakistan beat England by 14 runs in their World Cup clash in Nottingham on Monday.

Pakistan’s victory over England not only helped them bounce back from their seven-wicket loss to the West Indies, but it also snapped their 11-game losing streak in ODIs.

“What a turnaround it has been for Pakistan. Their supporters haven’t lost faith, through thick and thin – 12 games including the warm-up they haven’t won, but their fans have stuck with their team and cheered them on and wished them well,” Hussain was quoted as saying by Saj Sadiq on Twitter.

Pakistan’s next World Cup match will be against Sri Lanka in Bristol on Friday.
