Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has admitted that India are likely to beat the men in green in their World Cup clash later this month.
India will play their arch-rivals on June 16 in Manchester, and they will be looking to extend their winning streak over the men in green.
India have triumphed in all six of their World Cup meetings against Pakistan.
However, India were demolished by 180 runs when they took on Pakistan in the Champions Trophy final in 2017.
With that in mind, Misbah noted that India shouldn’t take Pakistan lightly or they could see their winning streak over their arch-rivals come to an end.
“Pakistan is a dangerous team. In cricket, you cannot say anything. This Pakistan team is capable. There was a collapse in the last match. India have a better chance,” Misbah was quoted as saying by cricketpakistan.com.pk.
“Given the rivalry and intensity, you never know what can happen in World Cups. Pakistan were strong in the 1990s yet India would win every time in World Cups.”
