Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed has revealed that his side will be “very dangerous” at the World Cup since they are unpredictable.

Pakistan have struggled in ODIs this year as they were beaten 3-2 by South Africa and whitewashed 5-0 by Australia in the United Arab Emirates.

In their most recent ODI series against England, the men in green were crushed 4-0.

However, they defied expectations to win the Champions Trophy in 2017.

“I think it’s good to be unpredictable,” he was quoted as saying by The Cricketer. “All teams are scared because of Pakistan. At the end of the day, [the] Pakistan team is very dangerous. So it’s good to be for the World Cup very unpredictable, so it will affect the whole outcome.”

Pakistan will kick off their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on Friday.
