Pakistan pace bowler Hasan Ali has revealed that he and the rest of the pace attack have to nail their yorkers during the World Cup in order to trouble the opposing batsmen.
Hasan admitted that Pakistan’s seamers have been practicing bowling their yorkers and ensuring they are accurate ahead of their World Cup opener against the West Indies on Friday.
The 24-year-old revealed that the decision to work on bowling yorkers came about after the pace attack failed to bowl many yorkers during the recent five-match ODI series against England, which Pakistan lost 4-0.
“[The] yorker is a weapon which we can use anywhere, in any conditions and at any stage of the game, either with [the] new ball or [the] old ball,” Hasan told the International Cricket Council as quoted by arysports.tv.
