Pakistan chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq is optimistic that the national team will beat India at the World Cup.
Pakistan will play India on June 16 in Manchester, and the men in green will be looking to snap their winless streak against their arch-rivals as India have triumphed in their six World Cup meetings to date.
However, Pakistan can take confidence from the fact that they demolished India by 180 runs in the Champions Trophy final in 2017.

“People take India-Pakistan matches very seriously and some even go on to say that we will be happy even if [we] only win against India during the World Cup,” Inzamam was quoted as saying by cricketpakistan.com.pk. “I’m hopeful that we will end our losing streak against India in World Cup matches.”
Pakistan’s second World Cup warm-up game will be against Bangladesh in Cardiff on May 26.
They will then begin their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
