Pakistan left-arm seamer Wahab Riaz believes that fellow pace bowler Mohammad Hasnain has the ability to become “even better”.
Hasnain has been included in Pakistan’s World Cup squad and featured in the recent five-match ODI series against England.
In that series, the 19-year-old took three wickets in two matches at an average of 49.
“Hasnain has pace and he’ll gain experience, he can reverse the ball well and he troubles the batsmen,” Wahab was quoted as saying by PakPassion. “Once he gets used to the conditions in England, he’ll do better. We’ll try to share our experiences with him and work with him to make him even better.”
Pakistan will play two World Cup warm-up games against Afghanistan and Bangladesh in Bristol and Cardiff on May 24 and 26 respectively.
They will then begin their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
