Pace bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has revealed that he is determined to represent Pakistan “in all three formats for a long time”.

Afridi has featured in three Tests to date, where he has taken 12 wickets at an average of 31.41.

He also also claimed 20 wickets in 13 ODIs at an average of 26.55 and 14 wickets in 10 Twenty20 Internationals at an average of 20.57.

“Playing Test cricket was a dream for me. My aim is to play for Pakistan in all three formats for a long time,” Afridi told cricketpakistan.com.pk.

Afridi will now be focused on the World Cup, and admitted that he is really looking forward to Pakistan’s clash with India on June 16 in Manchester.

After their ongoing five-match ODI series against England, Pakistan will play two World Cup warm-up games against Afghanistan and Bangladesh in Bristol and Cardiff on May 24 and 26 respectively.

They will then begin their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
