Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman is aiming to replicate the big score he made against India in the Champions Trophy final in 2017 in the upcoming World Cup.

Pakistan have lost to India in all six of their previous World Cup clashes.

However, when the two arch-rivals meet again on June 16 in Manchester, Zaman insisted that he will be looking to help his side snap their winning streak.

In the Champions Trophy final, Zaman was named Man of the Match for his knock of 114, which was his maiden ODI century.

“I will try and treat the India match like any other match,” he was quoted as saying by Dawn. “I want to repeat my Champions Trophy performance at the World Cup. But of course the World Cup is an even bigger event.

“The rest I got during the Australia series has helped me. During this time I worked on my flaws. You will now see a different Fakhar Zaman.”
