Former Pakistan seamer Jalaluddin criticised the national selectors for resting a number of key players for the recent ODI series against Australia.
The selectors opted to rest captain Sarfraz Ahmed, Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan and Hasan Ali for the series in the United Arab Emirates.
As a result of this, the men in green were whitewashed 5-0.
“It is unusual to rest your captain so close to the World Cup,” he told cricketpakistan.com.pk. “If they wanted to check new players, Sarfraz should have been there to see how the young players perform in the series.”

Jalaluddin Sir, You are saying absolutely right.. When Inzimam is a captain of Pakistan he is defensive tactics used.. Changed immediately as Chief Selector of Pakistan. Team selection is not using properly.
