Pakistan left-arm seamer Rumman Raees has vowed to return with a bang in the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL)
Raees has been out of action since he suffered a knee injury in the field while playing for Islamabad United in last year’s PSL. He then underwent back surgery and has been recovering ever since.
With Rumman not having played any competitive cricket since February 2018, he is raring to make his presence felt in the forthcoming season of the PSL.
Furthermore, he will also be looking to capture the national selectors’ attention as he will no doubt be looking to resume his international career, which currently consists of nine ODIs and eight Twenty20 Internationals.
The 27-year-old last played for Pakistan in January 2018.

“I suffered a knee injury and then I went through a back surgery, however, now I am very fit and you will see me in action in the PSL4,” he said in a video on Twitter. “I want to look different from the rest of the players, and I will play with dedication for my team and myself.”
Islamabad, who are the defending champions, will begin their PSL campaign against the Lahore Qalandars in the opening match of the tournament in Dubai on February 14.
