Pakistan left-arm seamer Wahab Riaz has revealed that there are stark differences in Misbah-ul-Haq and Sarfraz Ahmed’s style of captaincy.
Wahab played alongside Misbah on numerous occasions and noted that the 44-year-old always spoke with the batsmen and bowlers.
Wahab added that Misbah was also quick to point out any mistakes that were being made as he wanted the team to be at their very best.
“Misbah was totally a different captain than Sarfraz. He can judge any batsman and also talk with his bowlers about where to bowl. I used to talk with him and he also identified the mistakes I was committing,” Wahab told cricketpakistan.com.pk.
When asked about Sarfraz, the 33-year-old said that he is a lot more aggressive in his approach to the captaincy.
“Although I haven’t played much under Sarfraz’s captaincy, he is quite aggressive. He wants his players to be on [their] toes and ready to fight,” he said.
