New Zealand left-arm seamer Trent Boult claimed a five-wicket haul as his side skittled Pakistan out for an embarrassing 74 to triumph by 183 runs in the third ODI in Dunedin.
New Zealand’s massive win also saw them take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series.
Batting first, the Black Caps lost opener Colin Munro on the 10th ball of the match as he was caught behind off the bowling of Faheem Ashraf for eight runs.
Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson made up for it with a 69-run partnership before Guptill was run out by Shadab Khan for 45.
Williamson and Taylor kept Pakistan on the back foot as they forged a 74-run stand, during which Williamson surpassed his fifty.

With New Zealand beginning to take control of the match, Pakistan got the breakthrough they needed as Rumman Raees removed Williamson for 73, which came off 101 balls and included seven boundaries.
Taylor and Tom Latham added another 51 runs to the scoreboard before Taylor was trapped lbw off the bowling of Shadab for 52, which came off 64 deliveries and included four boundaries.

Once Taylor was gone, New Zealand began to collapse as Hasan Ali sliced through the lower order. The hosts went from being 209/4 to being bowled out for 257.
Hasan and Raees picked up three wickets apiece, while Shadab snapped up two and Ashraf chipped in with one.
Chasing 258 to win, Trent Boult speared through Pakistan’s top order, starting with the dismissal of Azhar Ali, who was caught by Taylor at first slip for a duck.
In his next over, Boult struck twice in five balls as he first clean bowled Fakhar Zaman for two runs before taking out Mohammad Hafeez for a duck.
Pakistan’s woes continued as Babar Azam was run out by Mitchell Santner for eight runs, while Shoaib Malik was sent packing by Lockie Ferguson and Shadab was cleaned up by Munro.
With Pakistan in shambles at 16/6, they managed to add 14 runs to their total before Ashraf was dismissed by Ferguson for 10.
Hasan then departed as he was the victim of a superb catch by Williamson at midwicket.
Despite being 32/8, Pakistan avoided being bowled out for 34, which is the lowest total in ODI history. Instead, captain Sarfraz Ahmed and Mohammad Amir put together a 20-run partnership before Amir was clean bowled by Boult for 14.
Raees smashed a quickfire 16, but he also had his stumps rattled by Boult, which led to Pakistan being bundled out for 74, which is their joint third-lowest score in ODI history.
Boult was easily the most successful bowler with five wickets, while Munro and Ferguson claimed two wickets each.
Sarfraz was less than impressed with his side’s performance, and said: “A tough loss, batting was again a flop. We will sit together and sort it out. The problem is the new ball. We’ll not give so many wickets in the first 10 overs.”
Williamson was ecstatic to have already wrapped up the series, and said: “Fantastic performance all around, a tough surface to get in on. Tim and Trent to start off, just built up that pressure. It was really tough to score. Just a slowish surface. It was going to be hard to score. We knew it would be tough, but we wanted to execute our skills. The focus is the next game.”
Boult was named Man of the Match, and said: “Pretty windy today, the wind was behind me today. Collective effort. Wanted to get the series done, knew we had to fight hard with only 250 on the board.”
