Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez will not be allowed to bowl in international matches after the International Cricket Council (ICC) found his action to be illegal.
Following a test at Loughborough University, Hafeez’s action was deemed illegal as a majority of his deliveries exceeded the 15-degree flex limit.
Even though Hafeez was gutted by the news, the 37-year-old insisted that he will remedy his action and get it re-tested to ensure he can continue to have an impact with both the bat and ball.
Saddened to know the result of my bowling action from ICC , it would never pull me down , wil never give up , worked so hard to remodelled it & wil work again twice harder to get better to serve my beloved country Pakistan 🇵🇰 & Achieve MORE #NO1allrounder

While Hafeez is not permitted to bowl in international matches, he will be allowed to bowl in domestic matches if the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) let him.
