Sri Lanka pace bowler Lasith Malinga has been ruled out of the second ODI against Zimbabwe on Sunday due to an illness.

Malinga has been diagnosed with viral influenza and has been advised to rest for 48 hours.

The 33-year-old featured in Sri Lanka’s shock six-wicket loss to Zimbabwe in the first ODI on Friday and took one wicket.
