Pakistan and Islamabad United batsman Khalid Latif appeared before a three-member tribunal in Lahore on Friday after delaying his initial hearing due to health reasons.

Latif has been charged with six breaches of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) anti-corruption code in relation to Pakistan Super League (PSL) corruption investigation, and his formal hearing will take place on May 15 in Lahore.

The 31-year-old was also given a deadline of May 5 to respond to the charges against him as his trial is set to be held on May 18.

The three-member tribunal, which consists of Justice Asghar Haider (retired), former PCB president Tauqir Zia and former wicketkeeper Wasim Bari, will also handle the case of Latif’s team-mate Sharjeel Khan.
