No play was possible on the third day of the third Test between Australia and the West Indies due to heavy rain.

This made it just the third time in the past 20 years that a whole day of Test cricket has been lost in Australia.

For the West Indies, who currently sit on 248/7, it brought them one step closer to avoiding a 3-0 whitewash as only 68 balls were bowled on the second day.

However, play is expected to resume tomorrow as the forecast is scheduled to brighten up despite there being a chance of one or two showers.
