Bangladesh produced a magnificent all-round performance to down Zimbabwe by four wickets in the first Twenty20 International in Mirpur.
Zimbabwe batsman Malcolm Waller hammered a career-best 68, but it went in vain as he was unable to lead his side to their first victory of the tour.
Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza would have been pleased with his decision to bowl first as Waller was the only Zimbabwean batsman to have a major impact as he smashed 68 off 31 balls, which included four boundaries and six sixes.

With Craig Ervine and Sean Williams being the only other batsmen to get into double figures, Zimbabwe were skittled out for 131.
Mortaza, Mustafizur Rahman, Al-Amin Hossain and debutant Jubair Hossain picked up two wickets apiece, while Mahmudullah and Nasir Hossain chipped in with one wicket each.
Chasing 132 to win, opening batsman Tamim Iqbal starred with the bat early on as he struck 31 off 28 balls, which included three boundaries.
While the rest of the top order failed to to make decent scores, it was a different story in regards to the middle order as they all made small, but useful, contributions to lead Bangladesh across the finish line.
Graeme Cremer was the most successful bowler with three wickets, while Tendai Chisoro claimed two wickets.
Waller was named Man of the Match.
