Sri Lanka have recalled all-rounder Thisara Perera in their squad for the upcoming two-match Twenty20 series against the West Indies.

Perera, whose last Twenty20 International came in August, was not named in the Test or ODI squads for the ongoing series.

Dinesh Chandimal has also returned to the line-up, while Binura Fernando, Jeffrey Vandersay and Shehan Jayasuriya are in the side as well.

However, despite his major contributions with the bat during last year’s World Twenty20, Lahiru Thirimanne was not picked.

Sri Lanka, who will be led by Lasith Malinga, will face the West Indies in the first Twenty20 International on Monday.

Sri Lanka T20 Squad: Lasith Malinga (capt), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Kusal Perera, Shehan Jayasuriya, Angelo Mathews, Milinda Siriwardana, Chamara Kapugedera, Dinesh Chandimal, Kithuruwan Vithanage, Dushmantha Chameera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Sachithra Senanayake, Jeffrey Vandersay, Binura Fernando, Thisara Perera
