Australia opener David Warner smashed an unbeaten 60 to extend his side’s lead over England during the third day of the second Ashes Test at Lord’s.
Starting off the day on 85/4, England captain Alastair Cook and all-rounder Ben Stokes converted their 55-run partnership into a 145-run stand, during which both batsmen brought up their half-centuries, before Stokes was clean bowled by Mitchell Marsh on the stroke of lunch for 87 off 128 balls, which included 13 boundaries and a six.

Jos Buttler only made 13 runs before he was caught behind off the bowling of Nathan Lyon.
Cook and Moeen Ali stabilised the innings with a 56-run partnership before Cook was cleaned up by Marsh for 96 off 233 deliveries, which included 13 boundaries.

Following Cook’s dismissal, England’s lower order collapsed and they were eventually bowled out for 312, which gave Australia a 254-run lead.
Mitchell Johnson and Josh Hazlewood took three wickets apiece, while Marsh snapped up two and Lyon and Mitchell Starc claimed one wicket each.
With a 254-run lead in hand, Warner and Chris Rogers amassed an unbeaten 108-run partnership, during which Warner registered his half-century, before stumps was called.
Warner finished on 60 off 84 balls, which included 10 boundaries, while Rogers remained undefeated on 44 off 72 deliveries, which included five boundaries.
Australia ended day three on 108/0 and will continue batting tomorrow at 11:00 local time or 10:00 GMT.
