Fletcher has represented the West Indies in 15 ODIs and 22 Twenty20 Internationals

West Indies and Windward Islands wicketkeeper-batsman Andre Fletcher was reportedly arrested at Douglas Charles airport in Dominica for possessing ammunition.

According to the Dominica News Online, Fletcher had been training with the Windward Islands team in Dominica and was arrested when trying to leave the country on Thursday.

The newspaper reported that Fletcher is due to appear in court on Friday.

Windward Islands manager Lockhart Sebastian is aware that Fletcher has been arrested, and told Dominica News Online: “I will support him, I will not abandon him … that is the job of a manager.”
