Ashwin will be fit for India’s World Cup match against South Africa

India’s team management have confirmed that spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will be available for selection when the national team take on South Africa in the World Cup on February 22 in Melbourne.
There were initially doubts about whether Ashwin would be fit for the match since he was struck on the hand by pace bowler Umesh Yadav while batting in the nets.
However, after taking a 20-minute break, Ashwin returned and continued batting.
