Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will take on the Mumbai Indians in the first game of the 2015 Indian Premier League (IPL) season at Eden Gardens on April 8.

Eden Gardens will also host the final of the tournament, which is scheduled to take place on May 24.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have announced that the Kings XI Punjab will play all their home games at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune following a lack of interest from the fans in Mohali.

It has also been confirmed that the Sunrisers Hyderabad will play three matches at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, while the Delhi Daredevils will play two games at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.
