Pakistan pace bowler Sohail Khan suffered a calf injury during his side’s warm-up match against Bangladesh in Sydney.

Khan bowled six overs, during which he dismissed Bangladesh opener Anamul Haque, before he left the field.

“Sohail suffered a cramp in his calf muscle and as a precaution he did not bowl after six overs,” a team media officer said. “He can still run without any problems and we hope he will be fine soon.”

Khan’s injury is a major worry for Pakistan since they have already lost the pace duo of Umar Gul and Junaid Khan to injuries.
