The Pakistan team have refused to sign an extended three-month contract since they want to speak with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar Khan first.
According to a source, the players have refused to sign their contracts since “it deprives them of pay increases”.
“The players led by captain Misbah-ul-Haq and other seniors are not happy with the three-month extended contracts because they believe it deprives them of pay increases for a three-month period,” the source was quoted as saying by The Express. “Now the players want the board to give them a one-year contract for 2015, backdated from January 1 with increased pay scales and revised clauses.”
