Sri Lanka spinner Rangana Herath is likely to miss the rest of the ODI series against England after injuring his hamstring during fielding practice on Tuesday.
Off-spinner Sachithra Senanayake, who was cleared to bowl again earlier today, will take his spot on the roster and may even play in the fifth ODI in Pallekele.
Herath’s injury is a major blow for Sri Lanka, especially since he has taken seven wickets at an average of 25 in the series.
The fifth ODI between Sri Lanka and England will get underway on December 10.
