South Africa have called up all-rounder Robin Peterson for their ongoing tour of New Zealand and their upcoming trip to Australia.

Peterson will replace spinner Aaron Phangiso, who recently sprained his finger and will need approximately four to six weeks to recover.

While Peterson is ecstatic to be back in the ODI squad, he noted that South Africa need to beat Australia if they want to gain a huge boost of confidence heading into the 2015 World Cup.

“We’ve got more match-winners now than we did four years ago so I am expecting us to go the distance,” he said. “I had a discussion with AB four years ago and I told him I think this one coming up is going to be the one for us to win.”
