Essex have parted ways with former England pace bowler Sajid Mahmood and leg-spinner Tom Craddock following a disappointing County season.
Mahmood, who is the cousin of boxer Amir Khan, moved to Essex from Lancashire at the end of the last County season.
Craddock meanwhile joined Essex from the Unicorns three years ago.
“It’s always a difficult time of year when [we are] releasing players,” Essex head coach Paul Grayson told the club’s official site, essexcricket.org.uk. “Both players have given Essex 100 per cent during their time at the club. Both have been excellent professionals and we would like to thank them for their contribution. We wish them all the best for the future.”
