Jayawardene averages 77.08 when playing at the Sinhalese Sports Club

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) have announced that Mahela Jayawardene’s farewell Test will be played at the Sinhalese Sports Club, which is his home ground.

As a result, SLC have had to move the second Test against Pakistan from the P Sara Oval to the Sinhalese Sports Club.

Jayawardene has an incredible record at his home ground, whereby he has scored 2,698 Test runs at an astounding average of 77.08.

SLC also revealed that commemorative events will be held during both Tests against Pakistan.
