Zimbabwe are set to play their first three-Test series in over 13 years when they tour Bangladesh in October this year.
Zimbabwe’s last three-Test series came against Sri Lanka in December 2001.
Bangladesh themselves have not played a three-Test series since July 2007.
Zimbabwe are scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on October 17 and will start their tour with a three-day match in Fatullah.
The first Test will begin on October 26 in Chittagong.
Chittagong will also play host to the second Test between the two nations, which is set to get underway on November 3.
The third and final Test will be played in Dhaka from November 11.
In addition to three Tests, there will also be a five-match ODI series. The first three ODIs will be held in Dhaka before both teams return to Chittagong for the last two ODIs.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have decided to use Dhaka and Chittagong during this series since the stadium in Sylhet will be under renovation, making it unusable.
