New Zealand spinner Mark Craig has announced that he is “living the dream” after taking four wickets in the first innings of the first Test against the West Indies in Jamaica.
The debutant dismissed Kieran Powell, Kirk Edwards, Kemar Roach and Sulieman Benn as New Zealand went on take a 246-run lead heading into the second innings.
“It was nice to go bang-bang there, bit of a dream start,” Craig said. “It was very nice to be able to contribute to the team today and obviously to get a couple of wickets was a bonus.
“Timmy bowled exceptionally well, set the standard for us up front, it was really nice to chip in with a couple myself.”
