“Although the injury is not a serious one, doctors have advised him to speak less for two days”
Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi injured his jaw during a practice match at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore.
Afridi, who had a massive bruise on the right-hand side of his face, was struck on the jaw when attempting to paddle sweep pace bowler Junaid Khan.
“Although the injury is not a serious one, doctors have advised him to speak less for two days because the impact was on the jaw,” head coach Moin Khan said.
