Tendulkar was offered an “attractive” contract

The Sydney Thunder asked legendary India batsman Sachin Tendulkar to represent them in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) season, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. 

According to the newspaper, the franchise approached Tendulkar in a bid to turn their fortunes around.

The Thunder were ready to offer Tendulkar an “attractive” contract, but no deal could be reached. 

If Tendulkar had signed with the Thunder, he would be the only Indian cricketer in the tournament.
