Jamshed and Amin dropped for ODI series against Sri Lanka

Jamshed was dropped after a string of poor performances

Pakistan have dropped the batting duo of Nasir Jamshed and Umar Amin for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka, which gets underway on December 18.

Jamshed and Amin will be replaced by Sharjeel Khan and Haris Sohail.

Khan recently made his Twenty20 International debut for Pakistan against Afghanistan and followed that up with a brilliant performance against Sri Lanka in the first Twenty20 International, where he made 34 off 31 balls.

Meanwhile, Sohail is a relatively new face in the squad as well.

He has represented Pakistan in four ODIs to date, with his last one coming against Zimbabwe on August 27.
