Kambli is in stable condition
Former India batsman Vinod Kambli has been hospitalised after suffering a heart attack while driving home from Chembur, a suburb in Mumbai.
Kambli was taken to the hospital by a police officer after feeling pain in his chest.
According to reports, he is in stable condition.
The 41-year-old represented India in 17 Test matches, where he scored 1,084 runs at an incredible average of 54.20.
He also played in 104 ODIs, where he amassed 2,477 runs at a respectable average of 32.59.
Kambli’s last international match came in 2000 and he retired from first-class cricket in 2011.
