British Prime Minister David Cameron sent a special gift to India veteran batsman Sachin Tendulkar ahead of his 200th and final Test match against the West Indies today.

The gift was a picture of Tendulkar walking off the pitch at Old Trafford after scoring his maiden Test century at the age of 17 in 1999.

Cameron stated that Tendulkar has been an inspiration to youngsters all over the world.

“In terms of being an inspiration to youngsters, Sachin is the greatest of all time,” Cameron said.

Cameron also admitted that he was shocked at how Tendulkar had managed to keep playing competitive cricket for the past 24 years.
