Imran Farhat pulls out of Zimbabwe tour

Farhat last played Test cricket in 2010

Pakistan batsman Imran Farhat has pulled out of the national team’s tour of Zimbabwe due to personal reasons and will be replaced by Shan Masood for the two-Test series.

According to reports, Farhat made himself unavailable for the tour due to his wife’s deteriorating health.

Farhat last represented Pakistan in a Test match in 2010 against England.

Masood, 23, who was born in Kuwait, has played 56 first-class matches and scored 3065 runs since making his debut in 2007.

In his previous two seasons, Masood has scored 846 runs at a respectable average of 33.84 and 1123 at an impressive average of 41.59.
