Snape is known to be one of the best in his specialist field of work

The Delhi Daredevils have appointed former England all-rounder Jeremy Snape as their performance coach for this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL).

Prior to this IPL stint, Snape was South Africa’s sports psychologist and performance coach and also used to be the Rajasthan Royals’ performance director back in 2010.

“We are happy to welcome Jeremy as Performance Coach,” Delhi Daredevils head of cricket TA Sekar said. “We believe he has the right credentials to help the Delhi Daredevils achieve its goals. We are sure he will bring in fresh ideas and help the coaching staff bring the best out of the players in a high performance environment.

“We are sure that Snape will enable the players be on the edge of their comfort zones as they deliver high performance through the coming season.”
