Napier will host the first match of the series
After the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and New Zealand Cricket (NZC) agreed on the dates of their series, it was announced that India would kick off their tour of New Zealand in January with an ODI in Napier.

Bangladesh have had to postpone their tri-series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka in order to host the Asia Cup
Bangladesh have agreed to host the 2014 Asia Cup after India, who were supposed to be hosting it initially, blamed a fully packed international schedule as the reason behind why they would not be able to organise the tournament in time.

India’s tour of New Zealand early next year is highly likely to be trimmed down to two Test matches, two ODIs and two Twenty20 Internationals in order for the national team to have adequate time to return home and start preparing for the Asia Cup in February-March.
