Pakistan big-hitting batsman Sohaib Maqsood has admitted that he cannot understand why mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed is not being used at all.
Misbah-ul-Haq: “I said we need him (Abrar). Both of our spinners are out of form. Back then he was not even selected in the 15-member squad, then how can we expect them to select him in the playing XI?”

Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq said the national team desperately need to give Abrar Ahmed more chances as their first-choice spinners “are out of form”.

Former Pakistan team director and interim head coach Mohammad Hafeez revealed he promised wicketkeeper-batsman Azam Khan that he wouldn’t be forgotten after being removed from the playing XI in T20Is.
Shadab Khan: “I never thought that he [Imad] is my competition, so he will take my place. Whatever Allah has written for him or for me, will happen. Whoever is in form, playing well, and beneficial for Pakistan should be in the team”

Pakistan spin-bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan is not worried about the return of left-arm spinner Imad Wasim, saying he has never seen him as competition.
Wahab Riaz: “Going forward, you need to conduct experiments. Our job is to provide a team to the director and captain. Since Sahibzada Farhan is also an opener, we will have to see with which combination they take the team forward and whom they prefer”
