Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ehsan Mani has made it clear that “we didn’t pay a single penny to overseas players” to tour the country over the last two years.
Ehsan Mani: “The HBL Pakistan Super League 2020 will feature 36 foreign stars. It was gratifying that 425 overseas players from 22 countries registered their interest in playing in the HBL PSL 2020”

Players that are not paid will go up for auction in the next edition of the tournament
Fifty four players, including six overseas players, are still awaiting payments from playing in the inaugural edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
May wants all players to be paid in full as soon as possible
A number of overseas players who participated in the inaugural Sri Lanka Premier League (SLPL) are still waiting to be paid in full, despite the tournament organisers stating that they already have been.
