Peter Chingoka has resigned as chairman of Zimbabwe Cricket following the board’s financial woes and recent player strike over non-payment of wages.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) secretary Nishantha Ranatunga has revealed that the board have asked the International Cricket Council (ICC) “for a loan of $8 million to settle our loans with Bank of Ceylon”.
