The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have decided to reduce all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan’s six-month ban by three-and-a-half months, which means that he will be available to represent the national team from September 15 onwards.

“I don’t see any way we can reduce the punishment”
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan has announced that all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan’s three-match ban will not be reduced following a request from captain Mushfiqur Rahim, head coach Shane Jurgensen and pace bowler Mashrafe Mortaza.
